Mommessin-Morgon

    MORGON

    Red

A deep garnet red color with a complex nose of wild cherries and hints of apricot and peach. Morgon is more robust and full bodied than most of the Beaujolias. It is rich, well structured with depth flavor and ample tanning which allows it age or “morgonner” as the local saying would describe.

    OWNER

Since 1865 the vineyard has been owned and managed by the house of Mommessin stamped by a dual lineage: the alliance of the typically Burgundian quest for excellence and the search for bursting flavors that are expected of a Beaujolais winemaker.
