A very large and opulent Petite Champagne with hints of white flowers, vanilla, cinnamon and orange zest. A delicious vintage.
ESTATE
The Lheraud estate was established in 1680 and it is one of the most prestigious houses of Cognac. As sole supplier of the British “House of Lords”, it is required to provide the highest quality. For more than three centuries, Lheraud passed on from father to son on their Petite Champagne vineyard in the heart of the Cognac region. The wines are distilled in the traditional way, without any additives.
SITE
The vines are located in the Petite-Champagne area in Cognac.
GRAPE VARIETY
70% Ugni Blanc – 25% Folle Blanche – 5% Colombard.
SOIL
Clay and limestone.
GROWING METHOD
In the vineyards they practice reasoned fight. There is no irrigation, no pesticides and no herbicides.
TILLAGE
Ridging, plowing and digging, with yield regulation by budding.

80 hectares.
DENSITY
8000 vines / hectares.
