WINE MAKER
Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet have, since 2000, restructured and completely replanted the vineyard. The aim, with the help of Stephane Derenoncourt, is to reT gain the prestige he was subject to after the passage of Henry IV at the estate.
SITE
The plot is located in Lignan de Bordeaux, 50klm southeast of Bordeaux.
GRAPE VARIETY
58 Merlot / 28 Cabernet Franc / 14 Cabernet Sauvignon.
SOIL
Clay and limestone / SandyTclay / Gritty.
GROWING METHOD
In the vineyards they practice lutte raisonnée.
They stopped the heavy treatments when they
arrived. Green harvest and plot selection.

DENSITY
6500 vines / hectares.
VINIFICATION
Vinified and aged on lees.
AGEING
The wine is vinified and aged 40 in oak barrels
and 60 in stainless steel tanks.
