Demon of the Bishop "Tradition"
AOC CORBIERES
Red
Very dense, deep colour. The nose is intense and rich, complex due to subtle hints of liquorice, garrigue and prune. The mouth is ample and generous, built around well structured tannins. It is characterized by its aromatic length.
WINE MAKER
In 1986, the famous French actor Pierre Richard discovered Domaine de l'Evêque and its rich terroir. Immediately seduced by its location, he restored the estate's 20ha to create his own red wine the Château de Bel-Evêque.
SITE
Château Bel Evêque is located between the Mediterranean sea and the wild 'garrigue' landscapes of the South of France.
GRAPE VARIETY
Shiraz, Mourvèdre.
SOIL
Clay and limestone.
GROWING METHOD
Manual harvesting.
SURFACE AREA
20 hectares.
VINIFICATION
Carbonic maceration with fermentation lasting 10 to 15 days.
