    Mitjavile acquired this property in Castillon and enjoys channeling his talents into his own wine – Château Cadet

    SITE

    Located in the Côtes de Castillon, an appellation which is becoming increasingly more popular, this property borders Saint-Emilion.

    GRAPE VARIETY

    85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

    SOIL

    Chalk, clay and limestone.

    GROWING METHOD

    25 year old vines with an average yield of 42 hectoliters / hectare.

    SURFACE AREA

    19 hectares.

    DENSITY

    6000 vines / hectare.

    VINIFICATION

    4 weeks maceration.

    AGING

    18 months in oak barrels.
