Maison Gauthier (rosé)
A beautiful salmon colour with aromas of ripe fruit dominated by notes of red fruits. A full bodied and persistent rosé.

Since its foundation in 1858 by Charles Alexandre Gauthier, the house has grown rapidly with a very demanding international clientele. Champagne Gauthier was notably the Official Champagne of the Swedish court.
SITE
The vines are located in the Vallée de la Marne.
GRAPE VARIETY
1/3 Pinot Noir – 1/3 Chardonnay – 1/3 Pinot Meunier.
SOIL
Chalk, clay and limestone.
GROWING METHOD
In the vineyards they practice lutte raisonnée. There is no irrigation, no pesticides and no herbicides.
TILLAGE
Ridging, ploughing and digging, with yield regulation by budding.
