Domaine des Gandines Viré Clessé « Terroir de Clessé »
AOC Vire Clessé
This beautiful wine presents luminous green gold hues, with a complex nose which expresses minerals and fruit. This wine has a round, bright and long finish in the mouth revealing subtle shades of white and exotic fruits.
ESTATE & WINE MAKER
The estate was established in 1925. In 1979, Robert Dananchet took over the estate from his father. Robert continued the work in wines while respecting the tradition and terroir using no herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and increased the size of the estate. Since the arrival of Benjamin Dananchet in 2005, the vineyard is in organic farming. Father and son have the same philosophy of producing great Chardonnay wines while respecting the earth, the living environment, and health.
