Sweet White
This Gros Manseng offers a succulent and soft palate, with notes of honey, dried apricot, lemon and candied citrus. This sweet wine has a soft first impression, freshness and a long finish.
ESTATE
The history of the estate began in 1920 when Jean François Morel, Swiss winemaker, decided to settle in Gascony to work the vineyard. The estate was just 10 hectares, but now has 120 and the grandchildren of Jean-François are now in charge of the estate. At the heart of the Bas Armagnac, the estate Ménard is located along the famous Via Podensis, a road used for centuries by pilgrims going to Saint Jacques de Compostela.
SITE
The vines are located in the village of Bretagne d’Armagnac.

Sandy scrubland / Stonymarl / Pebbles.
GROWING METHOD
Hand harvested and hand sorted. 100% de-stemmed and vertically pressed. Vinification for 3 weeks in stainless steel tanks. Natural yeasts.

VINIFICATION
Late harvested from selected vineyards who received the first frost.
AGEING
9 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
