Château Ménard – Hors d’Age 12 Years

    AOC BAS-ARMAGNAC

    White

This perfectly balanced Armagnac is aromatic and rich, making it a perfect candidate for lengthy ageing. The subtle aromas of ripe fruit and woodlands on the nose enhance the smoothness of this Armagnac.

    ESTATE

The history of the estate began in 1920 when Jean François Morel, Swiss winemaker, decided to settle in Gascony to work the vineyard. The estate was just 10 hectares, but now has 120 and the grandchildren of Jean-François are now in charge of the estate. At the heart of the Bas Armagnac, the estate Ménard is located along the famous Via Podensis, a road used for centuries by pilgrims going to Saint Jacques de Compostela.
